Who’s your favourite book character and why?

Katniss Everdeen

My favourite book character is Katniss Everdeen because she is responsible, loyal, intelligent, independent, unpredictable and athletic. Katniss also shows that you shouldn’t give up. I like Katniss a lot because she protected her family since her father wasn’t there to look after them. Some ways Katniss showed the qualities I listed are:

  • Responsible- Takes care of family & friends, finds food for her village & takes her sister’s place in the Hunger Games.
  • Loyal- is loyal towards her family & friends.
  • Athletic- Katniss can do many things like shooting a bow & arrow, running & jumping.
  • Independent- She never lets anyone tell her what to do or how she should behave.
  • Unpredictable- Nobody ever knows what Katniss is going to do next.
